Domain management

Your domain is the cornerstone of your online business — and the topic that confuses most clients. We help you navigate the thicket of registration, transfers, DNS and nameserver settings. We don't throw jargon at you: we explain what everything means, and do exactly what you need.

Domain management

Domain registration and transfer

For a new registration we help you pick the right extension (.hu, .com, .eu) and a reliable registrar. Fees, renewal terms and administrative steps are all clear up front — no surprises later.

If you want to bring an existing domain over from elsewhere, we run the whole transfer process: obtaining the AUTH code, switching registrars, handover with no downtime. In most cases it's done in 5–7 working days.

DNS, nameservers, and what everything means

The nameserver (NS) is the system that connects your domain to your web server and email hosting. DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT) each do a separate job — the A record points to the web server, MX to the mail server, TXT to SPF/DKIM for email security, for example.

In a workshop-style walkthrough we explain what we set up and why — so in future you can decide confidently when a new provider comes along, or you want to launch a new subdomain.

Configuration to your needs

Subdomains (shop.yourdomain.hu), redirects, SSL/TLS certificate installation, CDN setup (Cloudflare), email security records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) — we handle exactly as much of this as your project requires.

After handover you get a documented state: which record is set how and why, how to change it later — or we'll flag it so you don't have to.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a domain transfer take?

Typically 5–7 working days. The process between the two registrars is driven by an AUTH code and email confirmation — we run it all for you; you just have to click two emails.

What is the AUTH code and where do I get it?

The AUTH (or EPP) code is a one-time password that authorises the transfer of the domain to another registrar. You request it from your current provider — and if that's difficult, we usually help with the communication too.

Can my current provider block me from moving the domain?

They can't delete it — ICANN rules protect the domain owner. If any obstruction comes up during the transfer, we help escalate the complaint to the right organisation.
